'95. The body guy asked about the paint code, then brought out a dozen or so paint chips/samples and held them to the hood in good daylight to get a really good match. Came out "near" perfect. So it can be done, but that was a solid, single stage color, plus clear. The pearls are two stage paints, so matching base color, and pearl/flake thickness, is near impossible without some blending, to take away the obvious differences seen an a stark side by side comparison.
